Update, May 2, 2011: I wanted to bump this post to the top because I think that network marketing business opportunity #5 in this list, Numis, is probably more exciting than ever before: gold and silver coins. In 2011, gold and silver prices continue to march higher and higher, due to the depressed world economy (no, I am not a distributor…you will need to find a rep for this)

The Internet offers an many ways for connecting and engaging with other home business opportunity seekers.

While there are thousands of MLM opportunities, not all are ‘internet friendly’. That is, they either don’t allow internet marketing with personal blogs and personal branding–or they just have terrible marketing materials for their distributors for use on the Internet.

This is a 10 year old wellness company. The flagship products are Sublingual B-12 and Nopalea wellness drink. The company has a large presence on television and radio and affiliate members can participate in the cooperative marketing by purchasing customers. This is a wellness company with a focus on one product line: natural, healthy energy drinks. This company opened in late 2009. The company’s blast cap technology is creating a big buzz. Notice the social media elements (facebook, twitter, etc.) on the front page of the site. This company seems to ‘get it’.

Have you heard the radio ads on this one yet? There has been a tremendous amount of interest in this new MLM opportunity since 2009, when the pre-launch efforts were in full swing. Cons:
Considerable amount of money will be required to maintain a decent product inventory…some reps suggest this will cost as much as $1,000 per month; as with any
mlm, it’s all about huge amounts of retail product customers and building massive down lines. While many women will become successful with this company, it’s certainly not something that is highly automated or internet-only.
