Guess what? Very few people actually CARE about any of this. Most people are not looking to be impressed with statistics or glossy brochures. They ARE looking for a solution to a problem. If you are offering a solution that is appealing or convincing, your ‘attraction marketing’ is working well.

What are some problems that people need solutions for?

They want to earn extra income from home…

They want to create residual income…

They want to have more energy, have less joint pain, lower their cholesterol…

They are in a network marketing company but their sponsor has deserted them…

They want to learn how to use the internet for their network marketing business…

They are searching for nutritional supplements to alleviate allergies…

They are searching for organic pet food…

You get the idea.

If you are in network marketing, you possess a solution to one or several of these problems, right now. Figure out how to get the word out about your solution(s) and your downline will grow.

So, the most effective way to advertise your mlm is to NOT advertise your mlm! Advertise a solution. That solution may be a product, a home-based business opportunity, or it may be YOU personally, as a coach and leader.

A great way to present your solutions on the internet is through the use of different lead capture pages. You could build them yourself with software such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver. Or, if you are not crazy about the techie stuff, there are several good web sites that offer ways to create custom lead capture pages.

This evaluation and analysis will also give you a deeper insight into how to market yourself, the product and the company. What is the USP ( Unique Selling Proposition)? You must have a clarity about the USP in order to create a clear edge and distinctive advantage in relation to competitor companies.

Sometimes overlooked is assessing the weaker aspects of your company or product in relation to your competitors. No company out there has the perfect compensation plan or the perfect product line–not even yours! Being honest and straightforward about anything potentially negative will actually give you credibility in the eyes of your prospect. Be prepared to answer questions, without becoming frustrated or defensive. Make sure you stay on top of company news, such as pending lawsuits, product recalls and distribution problems. These types of things are available on the Internet, in trade magazines and newspapers. If you can find negative information, your new potential recruit will find it as well. Don’t be caught off guard.

Lastly, after you have thoroughly researched your product, ‘their’ product, your potential weaknesses, and ‘their weaknesses’ — don’t forget to show the value of joining your business opportunity.

There are thousands of mlm opportunities, and thousands more home business opportunities. Why would they want to join your company? If you are properly applying Attraction Marketing techniques, they will join because of YOU. They will be attracted to your knowledge, professionalism and successful mindset. They will want to be a member of a top-producing, savvy and supportive team. What can you offer that is 100% unique? Does your team have weekly or monthly coaching calls? Is there an organized advertising co-op in place? Can you offer beginner or advanced Internet Marketing training?

Be sure that your potential distributor knows every benefit of becoming a member of YOUR downline. Remember, lead with yourself, then with your product or opportunity.

Yesterday, we looked at the importance of building your own personal list, and managing that last with a personal autoresponder service.

Many business opportunity online systems provide turnkey (replicated) sites for the associates. They also include in-house autoresponders, so that when you drive leads into the system, the prospects will begin to immediately receive information and follow up.

The final component needed for effective list building is having your own custom lead capture page. This page is where the lead initially goes for information; once they have provided their contact information, then they are taken to the replicated site for your opportunity.

This was an intimidating and confusing detail in the early stages of my online network marketing business. HTML and CSS…not my strong suit!
