For the sake of all you Renegade Network Marketers out there, working hard to leverage the Internet for your business, I place a great deal of emphasis here on Internet marketing techniques. A good number of leads per day, that WILL absolutely grow your business is around 30. That means 900 leads per month.

So you want to pull every rabbit out of the proverbial hat to produce this number of leads…

I was reminded recently on a conference call that we should not forget, nor forsake, offline methods. (And I’m not talking about warm market prospecting) The front pages of Google and Yahoo are getting crowded and more competitive. BUT, place small classified ads in the business opportunity sections of major newspapers and you may find that you have very little competition. Better yet, you can bid for the lowest possible prices on your print ads through your Google adwords account.

Not sure how to word your classified ads? Spend some time doing some relevant keyword searches on Google, Yahoo and MSN. Read the ads on the first page. Find something that you like? It’s that simple. Use it word for word, or change it slightly. Look for those ads that create curiosity with the reader, something that would compel them to actually go to the computer and type in your web site name.

It’s the age of the internet and that is good news for your network marketing business. Warm market, online, offline…many more advertising tools than ever before means a brighter network marketing future.

A good lead capture page is an online network marketer’s best friend.

All of your articles, press releases, you tube videos and MySpace pages should lead to this one page, which needs several components to be effective.

1. Attention Grabbing Headline. Use words that trigger emotions, such as pain or fear.
You need to paint a strong mental picture and do it quickly, before the prospect hits the back button.

2. Strong Offer. It’s just the way things are on the Internet. You will need to have a quality ‘freebie’ to offer your visitor, in exchange for their name and email address.
Pay attention to all of the freebies that receive in your email box. If they are quality, and related to your web site’s content, save some of them in a file for later use.

3. Video or audio. It’s been proven over and over again. Audio and video personalizes your page…which usually means higher opt-in rates. Set it to ‘auto play’ when the visitor arrives, in order to get maximum results.

4. Benefits, benefits. Use some bullet points to highlight the benefits of your product, opportunity or service. Tell just enough to arouse curiosity. Your actual sales page should have all of the details.

MLM Lead Generation: Google and Pay-per-click leads

As you are well aware, the lifeblood of any network marketing business is a steady flow of targeted, qualified leads. Using social sites, such as Squidoo, Youtube and MySpace, you can create a lead flow at little or no cost. However, in exchange for the ‘no cost’, these methods will require a lot of your time. They will often that you learn some specialized skills.

Your goal is 20-30 leads per day coming into your system to review your business opportunity. When you consistently see this volume of leads, your business will be successful. It’s always a numbers game. 20 leads a day is 600 per month. 30 leads is 900 per month. Over time, the numbers will work in your favor. Never lose sight of that fact, even when you are not seeing immediate results.

If you need to add another source of lead generation, pay-per-click (ppc) marketing can certainly bring extremely high quality leads into your marketing system. Google will be the most effective, in my opinion, but there are other ppc networks. Some examples would be:

If you don’t know how to bid correctly, choose the most cost-effective keywords and set your daily budgets, you will go broke in short order.

If you want to learn the basics yourself, there is no one better than Perry Marshall, author of The Definitive Guide to Adwords.

It is also possible to hire a professional to set up and manage your Adwords account. You can find companies by searching for ‘ppc marketing’ and ‘managed internet marketing’. Be warned, though, that this can be quite expensive. Consider this option only if you have the financial resources. If your budget is limited, there is nobody better than YOU to oversee a pay-per-click campaign for generating mlm leads.
