Review: My Power Mall (MPM)

My Power Mall is a completely FREE program, that creates income for the members through shopping rebates. The creator of My Power Mall, Ginny Dye, has an extensive background in the networking marketing industry. She wanted to create a home business opportunity that does not require start up costs or monthly auto-ship products. Members spread the word, get others to enroll, and can earn commissions on shoppers nine tiers deep. I have to say, this is a very clever idea.
When members enroll, they receive a personal replicated website for business building, along with one for personal shopping. The only requirement is that each member must make at least one monthly purchase through their own power mall. There is no minimum purchase requirement amount.
If you understand affiliate programs, the purchase process and the ‘rebates’ make more sense. One or more times each month, you simply log into your mall area and make purchases of things you would normally buy anyway. The catch is, of course, you are purposely choosing to buy from the 1,000 plus merchants included in your mall account.
Online shopping is now commonplace and this program simply takes advantage of that in a unique way. Each company pays a percentage of each purchase, much like an affiliate commission.
Over one thousand merchants are included in the program, and include:
Home Depot
Office Max
Avon
Sears
Eddie Bauer
Bass Pro Shops
Restaurants.com
Chadwicks
OverStock.com
Vitacost
Tiger Direct
NewEgg
JustLenses.com
The percentages of each purchase rebate are small; however, if a member’s organization has hundreds, even thousands of buyers, the monthly income can become substantial.
To fully understand how the compensation works, it’s easiest to watch the presentation video.
The opportunity is available in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Argentina and about a dozen other countries. (The web site lists this in detail.)
Pros:
No cost to join. Takes advantage of normal online shopping habits. Thousands of merchants and the prices are exactly the same. Local purchases can also qualify, under certain circumstances.
Cons:
Must build up a substantial downline, as with any mlm program, to generate substantial income. At least one monthly purchase is required; skip this, and your membership may be cancelled.
