@ Steve: If you do some research, AVON was the pioneer in mlm’s for over 100 years and still growing. It’s definitely a sustainable business depending on the business strategy used by networking teams. What’s a scam is the linear income given by conventional jobs and lack of proper financial education held here in the US. Hence, our situation now.

Not sure if you realize that ACN did $800 million last year, not $50 million.  We placed a $50 million order for the new generation of videophones from Worldgate.

I don’t know why but I am always amazed when the list of top companies is released and how personal goods companies completely dominate the list.

Also I think there was a typo on the ACN listing. I am guessing they are $500 m not $50 m.

This is interesting. I would also love to see longevity information on these companies. The combination of sustained sales volume and many years in the business would put the lie to the commonly held belief that all MLM/Direct Selling organizations are scams. You can make a lot of money in a scam, but you can’t sustain it for 15, 20, 25 years.
