If you have recently purchased Ann Sieg’s Renegade Network Marketer book, you are probably excited about the potential for your network marketing business. And, if you are anything like me when I first read the information, you are now feeling just a bit overwhelmed.
I have a couple of thoughts that should help.
1. If you are still on the fence about building your own website with Site Build It,
remember that there is a money-back satisfaction guarantee offered. Here is the language, directly from the sales site…
“No time limits. Ask for your money back anytime. SiteSell.com will refund you 100% within the first 30 days of purchase, and on a pro-rata basis after that, for whatever part of the year remains. ”
Honestly, this guarantee is what convinced me to move forward with my first SBI site some four years ago now. I was afraid that I couldn’t figure it out. I was afraid that I couldn’t figure out how to write content. I was afraid that nobody would visit my site. And so forth. But once I jumped on board, and got into the tutorials, the forums and began reading the newsletter, my comfort level (and confidence) began to grow.
As a new Renegade Network Marketer, remember that your business is now about YOU, Inc. Lead with yourself, on a personalized web site (preferably with your photo, plus maybe audio or video). The best way to accomplish this is with your own web presence.
2. Give yourself some time to get traction on this whole approach. Sure, you have seen some claims of the ‘secret’ techniques for getting your web site indexed and onto the front page of Google ‘within days’. Well, for someone just starting out, that is just not going to happen. Don’t fall for this lie and become discouraged. Now, if you are using advanced Internet marketing techniques, and know what you are doing, then yes, you might see more rapid results. As I said, however, give yourself time. Rome was not built in a day. Your web site, filled with quality content, is not going to happen overnight, nor even in a week.
All I can say is, you WILL get traction within a few months, IF you will follow the steps, videos and tutorials. (oh, and I still don’t know exactly how they do it, but behind the scenes, SiteBuildIt is getting your web site submitted, indexed and visited by the search engines…just be sure to follow all of the instructions and let them take care of the rest)
3. Even if you don’t yet understand why it is important, get yourself an autoresponder going and start building a contact list.
When I was brand new to the whole internet marketing/network marketing scene, this just wasn’t on my radar screen at all. It should have been, because now I am playing catch up, and regretting a lot of missed opportunities. Some of the top rated services are Aweber,
GetResponse and iContact.
(Note: If you have a SiteBuild site, their system includes this) In time, you will know why you need this list and how to utilize it.
4. If you are still having trouble knitting everything together, I have one more suggestion. And I recommend this only because I actually did this myself.
Consider enrolling in Renegade University. This is an online training academy specifically for implementation of the renegade marketer system. This is not Ann Sieg’s program, but she has given her approval to it. The basic level membership is completely free of charge, no strings attached. Once I was there for about a month, and had taken time to go through all of the tutorials, I advanced to the Pro membership, which costs $39.95/month. The Pro tutorials will move you forward in a massive fashion, introducing you and teaching you the techniques of blogging, video marketing, autoresponder campaigns, social marketing (like Digg, Facebook, etc)
So that’s my three thoughts on the Renegade system: Get a web site, give yourself some time to absorb and learn and implement, set up an autoresponder account…and enroll in Renegade University (free or paid level) to pull it all together.
Hope that helps. Feel free to post your helpful comments here, if you have jumped into the fray already with Renegade University, SiteBuildIt or with Ann’s book. One thing that I already appreciate is the helpful and kind community that has formed around this system. Let’s encourage one another here. Together, we will make network marketing the ‘cool’ way to earn money from home.
