Video Syndication - 4 Reasons Why Video Length is So Important
By Mark Everett

The length of your video is so important for so many reasons and here they are!

1. Video length - People have a short attention span at the best of times but on the internet it gets worse! Unless you produce something that is absolutely amazing the likelihood is they are only going to spend a couple of minutes watching it and then you risk losing the viewer! Therefore keep your video short, make it a length that would persuade them to watch it all the way to the end, a few minutes is good.

2. Allowable video length - Sometimes it can be easy to get carried away when making a video, it’s hard to stop when you’re flowing! But some of the video submitting sites only let you use a certain amount of video time on them. For example YouTube is 10 minutes, so it’s not like you can produce a whole full length webinar or anything like that! This just emphasises the point above, it’s better to keep it short, and it’s good that websites such as YouTube only offer 10 minutes running time, it helps you out!

3. The boredom factor - Lengthy videos more often than not, are pretty boring. Who is going to sit there for say 10 minutes of their time watching a stranger blabbering on waiting to see if the video may or may not be worth watching! If you’re going to make a lengthy video put some humour in it or something to keep the viewer interested!

4. Let them know it’s a short video - A great way to get someone to watch your video is to tell them how long it is before they have even clicked on the video! You want to make it as obvious as possible how long your video is.

Here are a few good points on your video length. Take then into consideration to make your video a lot more attractive to others! To learn more about online marketing join me and start your Internet future

One network marketer’s opinion: The World Financial Crisis, the US Rescue Package…and why you should have a Home Based Business

By admin | October 1, 2008

Earlier today, I traded a few emails with my younger sister in Minnesota regarding the financial meltdown in the US, the Rescue Package…and the state of our IRA’s and and 401-k accounts. It’s been a bad week for Main Street, America. No doubt about it.

But in my opinion, there is a lot of panic being caused by the media reporting.  It’s so easy to release twenty and thirty second sound bites of news. These hardly tell the whole story. These tidbits also are designed to grab our attention quickly. Doom and gloom and FEAR sells! And then Wall Street tanks…because all the investors are hearing the panic, so they call their brokers to sell, sell, sell.  People who can buy right now are going to be handsomely rewarded in several years, in my opinion. But I am not a financial expert. And this is not the point of my post today.

Let’s look at some of the news causing panic. This story, from the USA Today web site, on September 5, 2008, says that the number of loans in foreclosure rose to 2.75%, up from 2.47% earlier in 2008. It goes on to say that a total of 9% of borrowers are behind with payments or in foreclosure.

To hear the news coverage on television, most of us are led to believe that this number is much, much higher. I certainly thought that it was a number like 50% or better. Then I decided to investigate just a bit. The truth, it turns out, is not nearly as scary.

Now, I am not some Polyanna. Nor am I choosing to be an ostrich, and stick my head into the sand. No, I’m not downplaying the current mess that our precious America finds herself in…

But seriously. Another Great Depression? Let’s be critical thinkers here.

The number of homes in foreclosure, during the Great Depression was 30-50%, depending on what source you want to believe. Here’s an interesting site discussing the topic:

http://www.oftwominds.com/blogjun08/foreclosure6-08.html

And though we suffered the largest point drop ever on the Dow yesterday, which the media made a huge deal of…it was not even in the top ten worst percentage drops in one day.

Here’s what CNN.com had to say:…”
The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) lost 777.68, surpassing the 684.81 loss on Sept. 17, 2001 - the first trading day after the September 11 attacks. However the 7% decline does not rank among the top 10 percentage declines…”
Read the rest of the story…

And what about this thing going around that credit lines are completely gone? That nobody can buy a home or a vehicle this past week. The credit crunch, momentarily, is real. My husband and I have received notices from four different credit issuers (one credit union, three credit card companies) that our lines of credit have been cancelled or severely reduced. Have we missed payments? No. Is there a liquidity problem and FEAR? Clearly, yes.  But to say there is zero credit out there? That’s not quite the full truth, either.

Back to CNN.com again, for some clarity on the credit crisis…

So…you may ask…what does all of this have to do with Network Marketing and home based businesses?

You may have been led to believe that ‘nobody’ is going to be interested in joining your business, due to this crisis.

In my opinion, quite the contrary! September/October is normally ‘high season’ for home-based business recruiting. The US Financial Crisis should help a lot of people to read the writing on the wall. Their retirement accounts are not safe, their jobs are not safe, their home equity lines of credit have vanished for now. Do you think that a whole lot of people are going to hit the internet, searching for credible ways to earn some extra income? YES.

Are they going to find YOU when they search? If you are a student of Attraction Marketing and the Renegade Network Marketer philosophy, they will. Build your web of content. And they will come.

Are you ready?

Review: Renegade University online training program

By admin | September 28, 2008

Renegade University Provides Click-by-Click Training to Help you Attract Prospects Online

If you are struggling to build an online presence for your MLM business, I’d like to shed some light on the valuable tools available through Renegade University. I’m going to share with you some of the many ways it can benefit your business and how you can become a member. Also, I’ll explain how Renegade University can help you monetize your prospecting efforts once your marketing is set up online.

Renegade University is part of the ‘Renegade System’ started by network marketing expert Ann Sieg. In 2007, Sieg wrote an ebook called The Renegade Network Marketer. It set forth the principles of attraction marketing. The book is the basis of Renegade University. It is step one.

But in order to put the ideas of The Renegade Network Marketer into tangible reality, you need the training offered by the university. With a very simple, straightforward teaching style, Mike Klingler of Renegade University takes the processes of setting up an online marketing campaign and breaks them down into something doable. There are even trainings to help the complete computer novice get started.

In her ebook, Ann Sieg tells us to draw prospects by offering a value at no charge. Renegade University shows by offering that value. By simply enrolling for the free basic membership, and providing your name and email address, you can begin your training on how to:

• Build a list of prospects without paying for leads or advertising.

• Attract quality business builders to your team.

• Attract any kind of prospect for any kind of business.

• Make money to sustain your business while you are prospecting.

This information is a skill set that can be used to attract prospects to any business, product or opportunity, and it’s an amazing value for free. You will also have access to a Network Marketing guide (your sponsor in the program) who can help you with your questions.

Once you have begun to see the effects of this training on your business, you will want to go to the next level! For $39.99 a month, you can upgrade to the professional level to receive ongoing training that advances with you as you grow in attraction marketing. Renegade Professional Members receive access to:

• Google PPC training

• Several different lead capture pages for spreading the word about the university

• Extensive training on Squidoo, Hubpages and social marketing

• Intensive webinars on subjects like SEO, writing content that attracts, building your own blog, and so many more. The webinars are available to the public at a cost of about $195 each, but professional members can attend as many as they want, and can access them anytime, 24/7, in their online account training area.

• A network of qualified attraction marketing coaches.

Certainly not the least of Renegade University’s benefits is the affiliate program. Once again, instead of just telling you different ways you can monetize your prospecting efforts, it actually provides a way for you to do that. So you will learn — and actually DO — affiliate marketing and network marketing together. And once you begin to see how everything fits together, you will definitely want to share it with your downline. With a limited amount of your time required, they can start acquiring those criticial internet attraction marketing skills. What does this mean ultimately? More duplication. Fewer people who get left behind due or quit, due to not having these skills.

From one network marketer to the next, I hope you take advantage of this exceptional tool that has been so much help to me, from the beginner training to the intensive webinars to the affiliate program. As Mike Klingler says, we are “partners in success”.

Compare: Traverus and WorldVentures Comp Plans

By admin | September 22, 2008

This article provided by guest columnist Laci Blanton.

If you are thinking about expanding your income with a home-based travel business, you might find it difficult to decide which travel company will offer the best compensation plan. There is a lot of hype out there, a lot of Reps saying, “Join my company!” without actually telling you why you should join their company. As an unbiased observer, I researched the compensation plans of two of the top firms in the industry, TraVerus Travel and World Ventures.

TraVerus and World Ventures are network marketing travel businesses. Client bases are built through word-or-mouth or attraction marketing. Agents advance in rank by building sales organizations beneath them. These organizations are where we begin to see the differences between the two companies.

World Ventures’ organizational structure has two parts, a Lineage Organization and a traditional Binary Organization. The Lineage Organization is made up lines of reps and customers added by direct sponsorship. Direct Sales commissions are earned in this organization.

With the binary tree lie the residual bonuses with World Ventures. The Binary Organization is built on twos. Each rep may only be related to one rep on each side. For example, if Rep A has sponsored Rep B and Rep C, those reps form his left and right side. If Rep A then sponsors Rep D, the new rep must go under Rep B or Rep C. Rep A decides where the new rep will go. This is known as “spillover”.

Agents with World Ventures can earn weekly commissions by matching three sales credits on the right and left sides of their binary tree. Each match is worth up to $100. Agents at the director level or higher may also earn monthly bonuses by matching sales credits in the same way. Bonuses for these matches cap off at $20 each, but agents can earn multiple bonuses per pay period. There are caps on the amount of bonuses an agent can earn while at a certain rank.

Compared to the TraVerus Travel compensation plan, World Ventures seems limited but refreshingly simple. TraVerus Travel offers a more expansive pay plan based on a 3×9 Forced Matrix. A 3×9 matrix pays three levels wide by nine levels deep. Each level triples in size starting with three on your first level. Read the rest of this entry »

Jeff Mills’ MidWest Super Conference, September 19-21, 2008

By admin | September 17, 2008

Several weeks ago, I posted some enrollment information for a three day Internet Marketing conference to be held in Minneapolis, MN. The MidWest Super Conference, brought to us by professional internet network marketer Jeff Mills, will no doubt be a great event.

BUT…some did not learn about it until just recently. Others just can’t take the time — or spend the money — to physically go to Minneapolis for three days.

There is a solution. Jeff has just announced that there will be a live feed available to the entire three day event, using UStream TV. That’s right, you will be able to see the event on your computer, at your home or office or wherever you may be.

Get the details for the live feed at the MidWest Super Conference site.

Four Principles from ‘The Secret’: Boost Your Network Marketing Success

By admin | September 17, 2008

Do you feel that you’re expending all your energy on your network marketing or direct sales business but getting no results? Maybe that’s because you’re focusing on effort when the most important tool you have in your arsenal is mindset.

Many of you have heard of The Secret, the book turned documentary by Rhonda Byrne. It chronicles the way a simple shift in mindset has created success and wealth for some of the most notable people in history. I highly recommend it for all students of Attraction Marketing.

The philosophy of The Secret goes hand in hand with the principles of Attraction Marketing. Here are four of the main ideas discussed in The Secret that can lift your mindset and make all the difference in your home-business.

The Law of Attraction:

Everything that’s coming to you has been attracted by the images you consistently hold in your mind. Read the rest of this entry »

PayPal Problems: Network Marketers, beware of PayPal

By admin | September 7, 2008

It’s been nearly nine months now since Paypal froze my account. My crime? I am an evil network marketer.

Yes…if you are a network marketer with a Paypal account…watch out. And I am not kidding.

There is some fine print in the Paypal user agreement that prohibits multilevel marketers from using their services. If you did not know it was there, you do now. Trust me, you do NOT want to fall into this problem area.

I have tried, without success, to get the account reinstated. I am told that the decision cannot be appealed. YET, I continue to receive emails from Paypal, asking me to come back. Irritating, to say the least. Do a search on Google for people who have had their accounts frozen, many times in an arbitrary fashion, and you might be shocked and amazed. I certainly was.
